For Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit use the steps below to run StarParts correctly on Windows 7.

 Required (StarParts must be logged off during this process)

Go to the directory C:\dc_fw\IAPJRE-1_4_2_13\bin and locate the javaw.exe file and right click on javaw.exe and select properties, then select the Compatibility tab and check the box compatibility mode, use the pull down menu to select Vista service pack 2 and click on the Apply button then OK. Then login to StarParts as normal.

User Optional

Depending on the PC settings you may want to change to 16-bit graphics to avoid the screen flicker when running StarParts on Windows 7. These changes can be made at the display properties on the settings tab.
