Tech Tip Part Description: NV247 Transfer Case
Tech Tip Description: When replacing the transfer case please review SB 21-011-01. The SB applies to 1999-2000 Grand Cherokees equipped with NV247 transfer case. The SB involves installing a transfer case vent tube jiggle cap. The new jiggle cap reduces the opportunity of excessive pressure build up within the transfer case and any possible subsequent fluid seepage.
