Tech Tip Part Description: UConnect Theater Remote
Tech Tip Description: Before replacing the Remote Control for the Rear Seat Entertainment system due to pairing issues, ensure that the VRM and radio software is at the latest level. If remote pairing still fails at the newer software levels, perform a reset on the remote by simultaneously pressing the Play/Pause, Down, and Screen buttons and holding for about 5 seconds until the remote backlighting flashes. It is also suggested to turn the ignition off, close all the doors, and wait for the cluster to go to sleep. Key the car back to ACC and retry the pairing procedure. For any additional questions regarding part numbers, software levels, or support please call Mike Galiati at (248) 294-8754. If no response in 15 minutes, proceed with repair.
