PRIOR TO ORDERING THIS PART, THE FOLLOWING MUST BE VERIFIED:
Tech Tip Part Description: Oil Pressure Sensor
Tech Tip Description: Check Engine Light (MIL) with Fault Code(s) P06DD or.P06DE. The most likely cause is the oil pump solenoid. The solenoid is part of the oil pump assembly and cannot be serviced separately. Replace the oil pressure switch before the oil pump only if one or more of the following Oil Pressure Sensor related fault codes is pending, active, or stored: P0520, P0521, P0522, P0523, or P1524.
