PRIOR TO ORDERING THIS PART, THE FOLLOWING MUST BE VERIFIED:

Tech Tip Part Description:   62TE Solenoid Kits

Tech Tip Description:   The I-sheet in the kit may be the incorrect one. The correct I-sheet for the 62TE Solenoid Kit is K6855969. All Mopar Reman valve bodies are 100% tested on hydraulic test stands and must meet OE pressure response and shift effort values. Solenoids are fully tested as well. Before installing the valve body or solenoid we suggest you follow these steps in this order: 1) Verify the operating lever and shaft moves freely in the transaxle case. 2) Verify the manual valve moves freely within the valve body. 3) Hand start all valve body attaching bolts before torquing any bolts. Failure to do so may bind the manual valve in the valve body. 4) Operate the external shift lever on the transaxle. If high effort or binding, loosen valve body bolts, reposition the valve body to eliminate this binding condition then re-torque bolts. Binding could also come from a poor TRS to valve body interface. 5) Operate shifter in passenger compartment before attaching cable to transmission operating lever. If shifter is hard to operate, cable may be corroded, pinched or routed incorrectly or problems may exist with the shift mechanism. Repair as necessary. 6) If external shift lever on transaxle and shifter in passenger compartment moves freely install shift cable and adjust as necessary. 7) Install valve body side cover. 8) Attach solenoid pack electrical connector. 9) Add transmission fluid. 10) Follow service procedure to determine transaxle is properly filled.
