Tech Tip Part Description: SWITCH Power Window
Tech Tip Description: Before replacing the master window switch (Driver door window switch), please follow these steps: 1.- Review the master window Switch for any physical issue (Button stuck, broke). If not, physical issue is found move to next step 2.- Review window switch internal resistors, and make sure it matches the continuity chart found on service info of the switch. (649 +/- 7 Ohms when pushing UP, 2519 +/- 25 Ohms when pushing down) If an issue is found with the internal resistor or on the physical parts of the switch, please replace the switch.
