    A: The code you see is the "Color Code", not the paint code. If you use the "Touch Up Paint Guide" for the appropriate year, in the Import section of the catalog you will notice a column with the "Color Codes". In the next column to the right you will find the corresponding exterior paint code. Match this to the VIN information to identify the correct Nameplate or Emblem. - Updated: May 3, 2002
