    1. Q: When looking up component parts for a Sprinter engine in Agg:M, under the Catalog dropdown I have two choices: 21T & 52R. Which one do I use? - Top

    A: Use the 21T choice. The 52R is for Latin America applications ONLY. - Updated: April 21, 2003

    2. Q: How do I add a front license plate bracket to a Sprinter? - Top

    A: All vehicles are shipped with the front mounting rail P/N 5104524AA which attaches to the Front Bumper Face Bar. Order the rail if missing. The license plate is mounted to the rail by centering the plate and attaching with 5X16 self-tapping screws. For reference see Group 88, Subgroup 060 in the Sprinter EPC. - Updated: April 21, 2003

    3. Q: How do I properly identify brake pads & rotors? - Top

    A: The current process is as follows:

    Step #1: IDENTIFY what brake system is on vehicle i.e. BOSCH, PERROT, WABCO
    -------This info is stamped on the caliper; THIS IS THE ONLY METHOD, at this time.

    Step #2: Access DATACARD to obtain axle serial number,
    -------This info is referred to in the Footnotes for rotors.

    Step #3: Select the VA group (AGG) for front or rear axle.

    Step #4: Select the wheel brake sub group
    -------For front axle: select item 23 for pads needed for type of system
    -------Item 5 for rotors (see footnote for serial number split)
    -------Item 53 for calipers by system type.

    For rear axle: select illustration that matches the axle number from Datacard
    --------Note: 741408 are the same as 741411 for single wheel axle
    741130/131 is for dual wheel axle

    -------Select item 35 for Pads need by system type
    -------Item 5 for Rotors (see footnote for serial number split)
    -------Item 25 for Calipers by system type.

    DATACARD ACCESS:

    ---Web based catalog is accessed by clicking on the tool bar icon “datacard”.
    ---Clicking on the “car” icon on the tool bar accesses EPC disc catalog.
