New Dealers and New Users for StarParts

Step 1. You will need a SID from Dealer Connect. If you already have a ID go to step 2. If you need a SID contact your Dealer Connect administrator who manages the SID accounts for your dealership.

Step 2. Download StarParts training here

Step 3. Fill out the StarParts completion form on our website (http://starparts.chrysler.com/completionform.htm) and then hit the submit button at the bottom of the page.

Step 4. If you are a new dealer, you will receive a D'Mail confirming that you now have access to StarParts and setup instructions. If you are adding an SID, you will receive a StarParts access date when you submit the User ID Completion form.

Operating Systems
Windows 2000 Professional or Windows NT 4.0 StarParts will work on Windows XP however XP is not supported by DaimlerChrysler at this time. StarParts will in no way work on Windows 95, 98 or ME

Internet Connection Specifications
StarParts requires minimum speed of 128K bandwidth for every 1-3 StarParts clients. We recommend DSL, ADSL, T1, Frac T1 or Cable Modem. StarParts will not run on a dial-up phone modem. A Business Service Level Agreement with your ISP is imperative to obtaining a guaranteed support for your internet connection. Per dealer feedback and field testing: Satellite and Wireless connections have not proved to be as efficient.
