F.A.Q: Lock-Ups

1. If I miskey a VIN and my machine locks up. What do I do ?

2. My PC locks-up what do I do?

1. If I miskey a VIN and my machine locks up. What do I do ? - Top

Select ALT - TAB to see if two StarParts windows are open.
Select one of them, it should be displaying an error message "VIN not found".
Select OK. (This closes the error message window and returns you to Bookmark or Shortcut to enter a new VIN)

Contact the help desk (1-800-374-4040 Options 1-4) so they can run some tests and get some client output files that will help us work on this issue.
