Turn the filter off! When the VIN filter is turned off both part numbers will still be shown, but now the valid part number for the vehicle will be checked and the engine transmission and line for that vehicle will be displayed on the right side of the screen - Updated: October 24, 2003

    2. We are currently working on the following types of VIN-Filtering Issues - Top

If you are looking for a fender extension for a Wrangler(TJ) and it is a Sport - Turn the VIN filter off to find the correct part number.

If you need door moldings for a DR and the molding sales code starts with a K1 - Turn the VIN filter off to find the correct part number.

If you get to the part number you want and there are two numbers to choose from but no other information to help you decide, turn the VIN filter off to find the correct part number and then send us a feedback so we can fix the problem.

If you are looking for facia's or cladding for a Grand Cherokee Limited look for the sales code of ARN in Ident. If the VIN has ARN then turn the VIN filter off to find the correct part number.

    3. How will VIN Filtering enhance performance? - Top

The added data filtering functionality, i.e. VIN-Driven parts filtering will reduce the time required to find a part. This filtering will take you directly to the part you are looking for in less time than it takes to manually navigate through multiple screens in your current EPC. VIN-filtering capabilities are greatest on model years 97 and forward.
